Planning Ahead

This tour does not have to be completed in one day.

This should not be a chore or "work", it should be fun.

The tour is a total of 27 miles. Just passing all the locations without stopping can take two hours.  On average, the tour can be done in four hours.

But the most important thing is to plan ahead.

Read through the "Itinerary & Directions" to get a sense of where you will be going.  Maybe even look at one or two stops in the "In-Depth Info & Pictures" section to get a sense of what you will see at those stops.

Remember, if at any point you get tired, go home and pick up where you left off next time.

The good news is, that you will be surprised at how you won't think about time during the tour because you will be so interested.

Part of being prepared may include bringing a camera along or making sure that your cell phone is fully charged to take pictures.

Check our Photography page and learn how to add your photos to this tour.

Also, part of being prepared may include bringing some snacks and drinks along. (Also, napkins or paper towels - if someone is a messy eater)  Or plan a stop at Rachel's General Store for some hoagies. (Depending on where you are from, your sandwich, may be called a "hero", "sub", "submarine sandwich" or "grinder".)

And finally be sure to dress comfortably for the weather.
