Welcome to our tour of the Town of Eldred (often called Kunkletown).

We have tried to list every "Place of Interest" that we could think of and "map" them in an orderly fashion so that you are not retracing your "steps" more than necessary.

You can take this tour in your car or while sitting on a chair at home!

The "In-Depth Info & Pictures" section has photos and detailed information about each of the locations.

It you go by car (which we highly recommend) you can do the entire tour on one gallon of gas

(if your car gets 27 miles per gallon...lol).  

Be forewarned - this tour can easily take four hours from start to finish,

if you stop at locations and get out and walk around and take pictures.

For this reason, we suggest that you plan on a break at one point - maybe bring a picnic lunch along.

Or break the tour up into two days.

 

We have made this tour "kid friendly" - suggesting activities to keep the kids interested.

 

Be sure to bring pad & pen along to keep track of your mileage.

We used mileage to help you locate the various stops, since many do not have a street address.

 

You should read through the Itinerary the day before so you will be familiar with where you are going.

Please note, in the column labeled "P" we indicate if there is off-street parking.
